Momentum4K HDR display with Ambiglow

Was looking for a monitor that can handle it all. You connect through USB-C (using it for my MacBook) and display port (using it for my windows laptop from work) but this monitor is at it's best when using it with one of the higher end consoles. Not only does it have 4k image but also the stunning HDR with 1000 nits (which is a game changer compared to all wanna be HDR monitors) it's also has acceptable inpuntlag (well especially when using for a console). I have an OLED tv and must say the colours on this one come close at a price point that is 3 times lower. So if you look for a monitor for different sources and mainly want to game on console this is THE ONLY monitor worth getting. This thing can hit so bright notes that you think you're getting a tan on the go.

I haven't been able to get the tv speakers working but other than that it has been excellent. Its a very bright monitor and its sits sturdy on my desk. Ambiglow is nice and I now like using the well-lit space under my monitor. The ports at the back aren't the easiest to access but from what I can gather lots of screens are like that. I will be upgrading my pc to get the full benefits soon.

I wanted an HDR and 4K capable monitor and the 436M6 is so far so good, best for my everyday use and entertainment, also in work when I switch to picture in picture mode (maybe I'm missing a bit more flexibility to custom sizing/positioning different inputs). Great contrast and HDR, blacks are beautiful compared to my last monitors greyish blacks. Only thing I just wondering is that how this monitor would look like if it has used an IPS panel instead of VA. 43" size is a bit large, I think it is the limit, that it can be used as a monitor, but the smaller Momentums don't offer the same features as this one, so I picked that one. A 30"-37" screen size would be better, but there is also advantage with the 43" which is watch movies further from the couch.

I purchased my Philips Momentum 43 4k monitor around 6 months ago and it has been fantastic. Its ideal for console gaming, especially with the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X and also with the upcoming PS5 and Series X this will be fantastic. There is literally no input lag which really helps in fast paced online shooting games, and the colour accuracy and HDR brightness brings more cinematic games to life. It's by far the best large gaming monitor for a console, I would probably go for a smaller size for PC gaming as sitting close to a desk with this size monitor could be difficult. I have a smaller 28 inch 144hz for PC use. This was purchased only to be used as a monitor for my consoles and it has been absolutely fantastic. Don't buy a 4k TV for console get yourself a great monitor like this I can 100% guarantee you won't regret it. 5 stars

Best choose for gaming and work. 60 Hz in 4K resolution is enough for most expensive PCs.

looking for a big screen monitor, found it. all set for a decade

Simply put, this is a great monitor. The HDR 1000+ nits, VESA-certified presentation is drop-dead gorgeous. The Wide Color Gamut SDR looks better than most competing monitors can display HDR. Still using my former GPU with this monitor and the visuals in 3d games and web browsing are so good it's as if I've installed a new GPU. Very satisfied in every respect. Zero dead pixels. DP 1.4--I use this as a computer monitor, not a TV, btw. Dot Pitch is small enough that no individual pixels are discernible. Sitting back approximately three feet away from the center of the screen, I'm surprised and pleased by how natural it feels--and I sometimes wonder how I got along without it all these years....;) It's just a pleasure to use every day! Don't want to forget the remote control--it accesses all the monitor's options, making use of the monitor's joystick control unnecessary. Have owned for ~six weeks.

HDR1000 제품은 정말 만족스럽습니다! 기존 중소 TV 알아봤지만 실망하고 팔기를 반복,,, 큰맘 먹고 현존 최고 가성비 모니터라는 필립스 436m HDR1000을 구매했는데 대만족입니다.. 와이렇게 돌고돌았는지 ㅠ 강추 드립니다.

主にMacBook Proの外部モニターとして仕事に長時間使い、30分くらいプレイステーション４でサッカーのゲームをするのに使う。 自分の目と画面との距離は1メートル位だと思う。 比較的小さな字を出して眺める時間が多いが疲れにくい。また動きの速いサッカーのようなゲームでもそれは同じだ。 家にある他社のFHD大画面（５５インチ）テレビでゲームをするより目が疲れない気がする。 一つ欠点を挙げれば、Windows 10でHDRが生かせないところ。Macではそんなことはないので、これはどちらかといえばWindowsに原因がありそうだ。 あとこれは賛否両論あると思うが、入力端子の種類が多く、その分、代表的なHDMIもDispplay Portもひとつずつになって少ない。（Mini DP, USB-Cを装備している）
