Blu-ray Disc/ DVD player

I've had this dvd player for years and still works perfectly. The type of perfection you don't get from newer stuff. Rlly love it but sometimes shows can be a little bit choppy but that's probably it's age kicking in. This product is too good to have been discontinued.

This player gives an excellent picture and for the price,you won`t find a better choice.I didn`t need a bluray player with "apps",as this player is being used in my bedroom,where I already have a Roku stick..This player up-scales standard DVD`s as well,I am VERY satisfied with this purchase!

I bought it for use on my smart TV so I didn't need any of the frills that comes with other blueray players and it works great, I really love that it's CEC complient, meaning that once I hooked it up to my TV I was able to control it with my TV remote and when I turn it on my TV automatically goes to that source input.

Sharp images and with the supplied HDMI cable made it easy to hook up.

This product plays DVDs well although cannot work out how to play non region DVDs. However when it comes to the usb feature the usb goes in, seems to load but nothing comes up. The manual says to register the dvix code online but there is no option for this in the advanced settings. A bit disappointing.

No complaints with this player except one, why are there no controls on the unit itself? It only has two buttons, one to open the tray and a power button and does not play every disc automatically, so should you mislay your remote or lose it the unit is just a plastic box that sits there looking pretty. Cannot fault the unit other than this.

The remote is too small for fat fingers. Other then that its fine.

Considering how little I paid for it, it would be ungracious to whinge too much, but I agree with the review above that the remote control is annoyingly unresponsive. I can't find a way to unlock the regions on it either, meaning I still need to use my old DVD player to watch other-region (non-Blu-ray) DVDs. It does a much better job of playing DVDs though. Discs that were unplayable or regularly pixelated on the old one are fine on this.
