Don't do the software upgrade.

With my first one I did the software upgrade as instructed in the setup and the player would lock up probably 4 of 5 times I would use it. Tech support chat said to wait a couple weeks for a software update. Never saw it. I returned the player and got a new one. I did not do the update and it worked fine. Then I did the software update as a test, and it locked up all the time. I have a third one now and it works great, no issues, everything is okay. Just don't do the software update when told to in the setup.
