The fast cooking mode for my old budget Tefal rice cooker yielded poor texture, normal mode needed standard duration of cooking (still too long for me). This HD4535 from philips standard white rice mode is faster, the fast cooking mode is really fast about 20mins for 2 cups of rice with the rice consistency being as great as the normal mode. Fav item from philips to date.

Use it in cooking the claypot rice. Is so perfect and well done! I would highly recommend this. Easy to use for a beginner like me.

I used the rice cooker to bake cake, boil red bean soup and cook clay pot rice. The outcome is good. I am amaze that the rice cooker can boil the red bean so well, the red bean soften in 45 mins. To have such soft texture, I usually have to use slow cooker to boil the red bean overnight or use stove to boil red bean for at least 3-4 hours. Thus using Philip rice cooker at boil red bean soup really save my electricity and gas. Besides, the nonstick feature is good, the clay pot rice is tasty and most importantly easy to clean up. So highly recommend this model of rice cooker, it is easy and convenient to use, high performance and price is reasonable.

I love this Rice Cooker, easy to remove inner pot , easy cleaning and easy to cook and not only for cooking rice, when i cooking my favorite Chinese dessert " Red bean soup " it can keeping warm for hours and never turn dried.

When i first unboxing the rice cooker, i thought it's going to be difficult to use for a first timer like myself and my family member as there were so much buttons. Surprisingly, after reading the manual and tried cooking rice for the first time, it was so easy and very convenient to use. Even my 68 year old mother can catch up with the cooking steps. As a result, the rice definitely taste much better and the grains cooked perfectly. What's more, it's non sticky unlike using the normal rice cooker. So far, i have tried the soup and steam function and would eagerly trying other cooking mode as well. My colleagues at workplace also praised the design of the rice cooker which is sophisticated and stylish. I will definitely recommend this rice cooker to relatives, friends and everyone else!

Don’t think mucj!just a few buttons push and you can create varieties of menu...highly recommended...tried rice and porridge cooking, baking cake and steam.the pot is a bit heavy and thick..it looks small but don’t be fooled...the pot is deep curve shaped and it will filled a lot of content..the non stick pot will definately ease the cleaning part..worth every penny!

This is such an amazing product by Philips. When you first look at this you might assume it's bit smaller for it's price but No, it can easily cook for 5 to 7 person. I never tried an electric cooker before but this was an awspome experience. I stay alone and not good at cooking and this made my life easier. I cooked first time with it and I shared pics with my mother and sister of how well it was done. Not even a single grain of rice was broken. It took exactly 45 minutes, just like it claims to have those perfect rice ready. I also tried some beans and they were awesomely done. I will now try the baking and steaming fucntion and will update my review if needed. In short it is amazing, doesn't need much space, can easily be cleaned, just put the ingredients and there you. My mom already telling me to buy one for them. I'm so happy it made my entire week schedule easy when it comes to cooking. Perfect for those who stay alone and do not know cooking.

Really love this rice cooker, I always dream to have rice cooker that have function fast cook and normal cook and this model have this. This model make my rice texture very moist & delicious. Some rice cooker make my rice dry but not this. Even cook porridge also gets easier as it has its timing so u dont need to worry to check ur porridge many2 times. As it can do so many dishes I trully recommended this awsome rice cooker that made my life easier.

Philips new rice cooker help me a lot! I love it so much! easy and simple. I had tried to cook my porridge and the result was awesome. My porridge cooks well and with the warm button, I can only use it if I wanna my porridge always in mild hot. The pot is thicker and that very useful with their latest technology. I love it when cooked rice no more thick rice at the bottom and rice cooks faster than my old rice cooker. easy, healthy and environmentally friendly. Recommended every home should have one.
